As Christians, we are witnessing an unprecedented attack on our values, faith, and way of life. The world around us seems to be embracing principles that stand in direct opposition to the teachings of the Bible. We are told to go along to get along, to accept behaviors and ideologies that contradict our faith, and to allow the erosion of religious freedoms that were once protected by our laws and leaders. The government continues to pass laws that disregard the sanctity of life, dismissing the rights of the unborn, and our children are being indoctrinated in schools to accept ideas that undermine God’s creation of male and female.
But now, more than ever, we must remember the words of Scripture: “Be strong and courageous” (Joshua 1:9). The Lord made Adam and Eve, created us in His image, and gave us a clear understanding of His truth. This truth should guide our lives, our actions, and our engagement in the public square.
It is imperative that we stand up for what this country was founded upon—inalienable rights endowed by our Creator. Our faith is not just a private matter; it must be professed publicly through our words, actions, and even our votes. The Bible reminds us that “faith without works is dead” (James 2:26). While we know that we are not saved by works alone, our faith must be alive, active, and evident to those around us. We must speak boldly, act justly, and stand firm in the face of opposition.
As the apostle Paul said, we are called to “fight the good fight of faith” (1 Timothy 6:12), and in doing so, we must elect leaders who stand for righteousness, defend life, and uphold the biblical principles that our nation was built upon. Let us not be silent when our faith is under attack. Instead, let us live with boldness and courage, trusting in the One who holds all things in His hands.
As Christians, we are the salt and light of the world (Matthew 5:13-16), and we must not allow the darkness to extinguish the light of truth. Now is the time to stand firm, to proclaim our faith, and to trust in God’s plan for our lives and for our nation.
